Forced to abandon our former studio in Riverview Station following the flood and hurricane. While we hoped return, but it will be some time before the project will be revived. In October of 2025, we were fortunate to find a new location just 4 miles from the River Arts Discrict at The Mill on Riverside. Formerly a textile mill built in 1916, it now houses a host of small businesses: artists, non-profits, manufacturers, theatre groups, and more. High Five Coffee has returned on the river and nearby restaurants on Weaverville Hwy.
We are at 2002 Riverside Drive, Unit 42M and just off I-26 via Exit 25 to Woodfin.
We have an informal and constantly changing selection of work on display in the building and in the studio, sharing the space with our neighbors and students. It is very much a work and teaching space and you are welcome to visit. You may find students working independently find someone conducting a demonstration, working on a project, or planning one. We may be out painting. Our schedule is varied around classes, teaching off-site, plein air. Contact me.
Ongoing classes: We offer one on one instruction in studio and plein-air classes with limited number of students in studio, and occasional (TBA) workshops. Our focus is primarily on working with oils using traditional grounds and mediums, drawing to prepare to paint. Closed Sunday and Monday.
